Finally got the lighting right: three nights of retesting for half a second of delay

The sensor and the projection were 40 milliseconds out of sync — invisible to the eye, but it just felt off. We spent three nights making sure the interaction would actually feel instant.

We ended up pulling the entire signal chain apart and measuring it stage by stage — sensor sample rate, projector output buffer — until we found exactly where the half second was hiding.
