Blade Heart, Book of Inheritance — Novel-to-VR Adaptation

"Book of Inheritance" VR is adapted from Taiwanese author Huaiguan's original novel "Blade Heart," combining live-action capture via 4DViews with interactive design to build a VR piece. Through virtual reality, the audience steps directly into iconic scenes from the book, choosing between three swords, each representing a different character, to experience the multi-stage sword-restoration ritual inside "Buwang Studio." The goal was to faithfully recreate the novel's scenes and story — turning the author's written world into something you can actually see in VR wasn't easy, and the creative process was genuinely challenging, making it a rare and valuable cross-disciplinary collaboration.
