"Mascot Cam" reinvents the Kiss Cam tradition seen at basketball games abroad — during every game timeout, fans get caught on camera and, through face detection and AR compositing, instantly transform into their favorite team's mascot, shown live on the big screen. After the game, each fan can grab a personalized keepsake card and scan its QR code to watch their own transformation clip and share it to Facebook. A fresh interaction design and visual direction, paired with a live video feed straight off the arena's own signal control desk, let the mascot displayed switch on the fly to match whichever teams were playing — keeping the live interaction flexible no matter the game.
